What's inside a la Joie kit
Open the box and everything is already sorted. No tracing, no guessing which green is which, no trip out for a hoop.
Stick & Stitch pattern
The design comes on a self-adhesive, water-soluble sheet, separate from the fabric. Peel, place it where you like, stitch, then rinse it away.

Every shade wound and numbered to match the instructions.

Thread that catches
the light
Goldwork is one of the oldest surviving embroidery traditions — worked for centuries on ecclesiastical vestments, court dress and ceremonial and military textiles, where metallic threads caught the candlelight. Medieval England's Opus Anglicanum is among its most celebrated chapters.
The threads are not pulled through the cloth. They are laid across the surface and tied down, so the work stays raised and the light travels as you move. It is the most demanding thing we make.
