Each Edition features a new la Joie embroidery design, and the contents of your chosen membership format are listed in full. You know exactly what is in your delivery, and which design it will be — the Edition is shown at the top of this page. Three surprise mini Stick & Stitch designs arrive alongside it each month; those stay a surprise.
The standard Physical Mail Club project size is 6 inch — 15.2 cm.
Materials
- ◦ Real wooden hoops. Every hoop we ship is real wood — never plastic made to look like wood.
- ◦ 100% cotton or 100% linen. Those are the only two fabrics we use.
- ◦ DMC threads, selected for the Edition. Goldwork designs are worked in metallic threads.
- ◦ An embroidery needle and felt backing fabric with the Complete Kit.

Physical membership questions
Will my card be charged automatically?+
No. We never charge your card automatically. Month-to-Month is a single purchase of one Edition — we email you when the next opens and you decide. Prepaid memberships are one payment and do not renew.
What exactly is in my delivery?+
Whatever your chosen format includes — listed above, and the same every month. Only the design changes.
Does the Stick & Stitch come already attached to the fabric?+
No. The pattern sheet arrives separately from the fabric, so you can place it wherever you like — on the included fabric, or on a garment, bag or fabric of your own.
Can I choose the fabric type or color?+
Not for the Mail Club. Fabric is selected to complement each design and may vary between 100% cotton and 100% linen, with the color chosen by the atelier. Fabric color is customer-selected on our regular kits.
When is my Edition shipped?+
The September Edition closes on September 9 and ships on September 10. From October, enrollment closes on the 25th of the previous month and each Edition ships on the 1st. If the 1st falls on a weekend or public holiday, it moves to the next business day. Delivery time then varies by destination, so we do not promise an arrival date.
What happens when enrollment is closed?+
Places are limited each month. When a month is full we close enrollment to new members and open a waitlist. Existing memberships are unaffected and deliveries continue as normal.
How does the waitlist work?+
Leave an email address, and a first name if you like. We write to you once, when enrollment reopens. It is separate from our newsletter.
What happens to the archive when my membership ends?+
Archive access runs while your membership is active. For a prepaid membership that is the length of your term; when the term ends, archive access ends. Files you have already downloaded are yours.
Can I change my shipping address?+
Yes — write to us before the enrollment close date, so your Edition ships to the right place.
How do duties and import taxes work?+
Shipping is free. Duties and import taxes are calculated at checkout where applicable, so there is nothing to pay on delivery in the markets where that is supported.
